Our story
1980
- In the early 1980s, CECSA Group conducted the first satisfaction and sociometric studies in the world, using computers such as the Univac 1100 and IBM 370, supported by the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). Versions 1.01, 1.02, and 1.03 were released with Herzberg’s and Maslow’s five hygiene and motivational factors. In the mid-1980s, CECSA transitioned to minicomputers using Southwest and Unix technology for 32 terminals, launching versions 2.01 and 3.01 for users. By the end of the decade, CECSA migrated to IBM microcomputers, developing a DOS version in C Language and releasing versions 4.01 and 5.01.
1990
- CECSA Perú S.A.C. was established in Lima, Peru, and CECSA International Inc. in San Antonio, Texas, USA. In the mid-1990s, version 6.1 was released, including new measurement factors, both hygienic and motivational.
2000
- In the early 2000s, version 7.1 was launched, focusing on service quality measurements.
2009
- Versions 8.1, 8.2, and 8.3 for Windows were released, featuring factors for retention, innovation, competitiveness, and consolidating all systems into one.
2016
- CECSA developed the Organizational Tension Module aimed at identifying tension levels for both leaders and key departments within a single graphic report, known as version 9.0.
2018
- Version 9.2 was developed to support compliance with NOM-035, issued by the STPS in Mexico, with a specific section calculating internal consistency and construct measures as required.
2019
- Version 9.3 was launched, including the Protocol for Eradicating Workplace Violence, allowing data visualization at a general level or grouped by country, region, or branch.
2020
- Version 10.0 was released, allowing tools to be used in-person and/or virtually to maintain social distancing recommendations.
